Now put on Christ and re-read what you wrote.

I’m sure you have zero connectivity between these two parts of your brain.

I do not know of a soul who believes that war is good. There are many Christians who believe it is necessary sometimes but never good. And there are some Christians who believe it is never necessary and going to war is strictly against their beliefs.

god bless

You ask a questions and then answer it. Hum. Then I suppose that anything that I say won't really matter to you anyway, since you seemed to have already pre-judged anyone who would disagree with you. But for the sake of other people who might be reading this, I will give some type of answer.

With all due respect, I think that I will listen to what the apostle Paul said about the subject, instead of you. He has more creditability than you do.

War is not "good" per se, it is some times the lesser of two or more evils.

For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

God is not against killing in all circumstances, but rather only murder. War is never a good thing, but sometimes it is a necessary thing. In a world filled with sinful people (Romans 3:10-18), war is inevitable. Sometimes the only way to keep sinful people from doing great harm is by going to war with them.

and why the need for such rude comments?

Christianity has long taught (since Aquinas) the "just war theory." Under this theory, war is never "good." It is sometimes necessary as a matter of last resort.

War is not good under any circumstances.
To one of the other answerers: Why are Christians deciding who is evil or a sinner? I thought your Bible tells you killing is WRONG under any circumstances. Or is this another issue to pick and choose which verses to believe.
