my friend who shall remain nameless ( baz) met this girl at a party they get on well with each other but he is reluctant to do too much about it because he is 27 and she is only 18, what should he do?

Its good that your friend is actually thinking that this girl is young, seems like a nice and noble thing to do. It depends on the people. Lauren Bacall was 18 when she met Humphrey Bogart and he was 48 or something, did she look 18??!! No she didn't. It depends, how old they look, as long as he doesn't look like her dad, its OK. But I think people should go out with people a few years either side, really.

he should ask her out. i was 17 when my partner asked me out and he toyed with it for a yr or so before he did, he was 25 at the time 5 years later we are still together so, it was def worth it! Go for it Baz!
