and can a heart attack lead to a coma?

For the first one, no, not every coma patient will need a respirator. It would depend on the underlying medical conditions, and so on. Some coma patients just lie as if asleep, some need much more intensive care.

A heart attack leading to a coma.... well, I'd admit that it's possible, for sure, again depending on underlying medical conditions and the circumstances of the heart attack.

Every patient is different, even in the "same" situation.

Most coma patients do need respiratory assistance. Yes, a hear attack can lead to a coma because blood may not have been able to get to the brain.

No all comatose patients , dont need assistance with breathing,,, i really havent heard of a heart attack , leading to coma. A stroke could have though. Hope this helps.
