What are some of the best (clean, nice but cheap) hotels with kitchens inside the rooms in the midtown area?

The Belvedere in Times Square - extremely clean, very friendly staff and every room has a microwave, fridge and microwave. Rooms start at $160 - you may be able to negotiate a better price at PriceLine or Orbitz. The train and bus are on the corner and there are theatres on the same block.

Murray Hill East Suites on East 39th Street - every room has a dishwasher, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker.

The Beekman Tower, all have kitchens, I believe. Check out the Affinia website, I just booked a studio suite with kitchen for $159, check it out. Link:
