I know plasmas run hot, but I just bought a Sharp 13" LCD TV and it's running hot. I don't know if it's because LCDs tend to run hot or bc the TV is refurbished.

The LAMPS are what create the heat....even flourescent lamps!

Don't worry, your TV is fine......until you smell burning plastic that is.....

Yes LCD Tv's Run Hot. Depending on how long you run them. IF its extremely hot like after 1 hour of use somethings wrong.

yes they run hot i have a samsung lcd 32" and in the manual it says the normal running temp is 91 degrees so i wouldnt worry unless the tv starts to mess up or show distortion

the lamps is what gets hot,,your tv is ok ,,do not worry
