Brushing your tongue?

Do you brush your tongue when you brush your teeth? I cant since I gag so bad. What can you do when you cant brush your tongue?

They do make a special tongue cleaner that is shaped like a spoon that isn't nearly so gagging.
Its with the floss at Walmart and Target.

Yes. it's good for the cleanliness of your tongue. Start with soft strokes up to about half the length of the tongue. Get a feel for it for a few days and then start going further down the throat (not actually but upto the entire length of the visible tongue). Doing it slowly and gradually will hopefully get you over with it.

yes i do brush my tongue to get rid of the bacteria. cant brush your tongue? i have no idea what else to do as well... perhaps a mouth wash will help?

I have a really hardx time brushing my tongue to... lol. I just swish with mousthwash a little longer than normal people...lol

I do brush my toungue when I brush my teeth. My dad is a dentist and he recommends it. There is a special tool that you can get (I think they call it a toungue scraper) that is made for just cleaning your toungue. My gag reaction is bad, too. Sometimes it helps to sorta tighten up your toungue mucsles, and if you can't just try to do it as far as you can and get as much plaque off as you can, it's better then nothing.

Yes I do brush my tongue when I brush my teeth.it is necessary!!! Try to use a mouthwash....
