He is talking about spiritual discernment. I honestly thought that was understood by most people. thanks!

he says a similar statement in other parts.
on one hand the faithful are made RULERS over many cities.
in another place there are 24 elders that are given thrones of authority in heaven.
but the one man who was given a single "talent" buried his talent and produced nothing more. and when the lord came and asked for accountability , he gave him the one talent. Proving that he was unprofitable.
so the one talent was given to the ones that had 5 talents and another who had 10 talents. because they were profitable and actually did some work.
while Jesus uses the analogy of money, this has a Spiritual sense of people who are given gifts of the spirit. To whom much is given, much is also required. to Him who has the greater light, there is a greater responsibility. I have a witness of an angel and 3 visions of christ. So, Jesus would require much more from me than the people who just believe. and those who dont believe at all. in essense because i have a greater light, more than many, I can also receive the greater condemnation. And i will be the first one to go to hell, if i dont have true repentance.
but when it comes to ruling over cities, more than likely it will happen in the next life during the Millenium. Even though it is also possible to Grow a church and expand it beyond the nations borders.

If you really listen to all Jesus says throughout the bible you will understand. He says follow me and I will make you fishers of men. Has anyone actually followed Jesus? They worship him, what he actually means is follow what I did to get to where he was, and we all know that he performed miracles and walked on water and rose from the dead. But his teachings all begin with love and he was a scholar of all religions, if we all knew exactly what he read, studied and how he got to where he did, I'm sure we would all be making miracles! I'm sure you understand the question in relation to the bible, He says those who think they have given more in monetary and deeds that make them feel self righteous and powerful, that will all be taken away when you die and those who have given themselves truly to God will have whatever they want, face it if you have loads of money and you lose it, how would your lifestyle change and how would they feel? Those who don't have any money and suddenly win the lotto, how would their life change, and how would they feel?

It means if you give a little you will get alot more back in one form or another. Think about it...each time Jesus preformed a miracle he ask for something right? A loaf of bread and 2 fishes, turned into to so much it fed the multitude of people.
Those who sit back and do nothing will lose all they have. Think about that one---you live in a house, you dont pay the payment you not only lose it--you get bad credit on top of it, and no one else wants to rent you a place.
Just a couple ideas hope it helps ya to understand better..God bless

This was said immediately after Jesus gave an illustration of 3 slaves who all received some money.
They were to make it profit.
The third slave did nothing about it.
Therefore, regarding the work Jesus has given his followers:
Those who throw themselves into the work, will be richly rewarded.
Those who drag their feet, will not even continue with the few opportunities they have.
What work does Jesus give?

If we are refer He means that he who has eternal life or "eyes to see and ears to hear" shall be given more. They may be given more wisdom, more responsibilities for the kingdom of heaven etc...
But he who does not have eternal life even what he has now will be taken away. Meaning that those who have physical life but do not have eternal life, eventually everything they have in this life will be taken away and they will perish in hell.

Either righteousness, or faith, but I'm not too sure. Could be a bad translation.

You didn't ask which faith's interpretation you wanted. There will be many, I'm guessing.
