well, from past experiences, I can tell you that telling him the truth is the best route. No one can read minds- including the guy that you like. Don't push him into anything. But, ask him to go out as friends and see where it goes from there. If you really really like him, ask him out.

Talk with him and get to know him more. Be yourself. If you don't have the confidence to do that, then absolutely nothing will happen and you'll be stuck in your daydreams forever.

look at him and then when he looks at you look down and then look back at him and smile.. (but dont look at him for too long coz u dont want to freak him out)
when he needs something pass it over to him...
get chatting to his friends..
