It takes a while-it's normal to feel sad after breaking up with someone...give it some time before worrying about the whole "moving on" thing. If you try to forget about it too soon you won't process all the feelings that go along with it and will end up taking even longer to get over him.

If it's something you wanted or for the best you need to try to forget it, occupy yourself, be with friends to keep you distracted and when you do think about him tell yourself the bad things about the relationship, otherwise you'll really feel awful. If possible don't go places where you know he'll be. Other than that the only thing you can do is wait for it to pass, only time will make it less painful.

I am inclined to wonder about your age. If you are of school age then I strongly suggest that you focus on your studies and if you have any extra time on your hands and don't have a job, get one.Focus on making yourself the best you can be,or re-inventing yourself. May i add that being free of the wrong man makes space for the right one. In any case I see you living well and doing well.

I am sorry to say this, but you are just gonna have to move on. There's millions of guys in the world that are waiting for you to discover them and you have a long life ahead of you. Don't be sad and take this easy.

Do what you need to do...let your emotions flow freely.
Some people stay home and listen to sad songs, some go out, some drink etc....Whatever your choice of dealing....Just don't physically hurt yourself....Don't become a whore either, getting with other guys to forget him. (just more heartache)
Time helps...take time for you.

Well it's harder when your boyfriend breaks up with you, but the first time that happened to me I did a long cross country road trip! It was awsome! It gave me lots of time to think, cry, marvel at the beauty of nature, and contemplate how small I am in the larger sceme of things! ...or have a quick fling!! ; )

I would just sit down and think of all the good people you could be meeting out there in the world.

Time heals all wounds. Keep your head up, and don't jump into another relationship until you are over, and I mean really over, this one.
