i use a round brush and a hair dryer.. oh and some anti frizz stuff.. take me about 30-45 mins... i used to take a shower at night and let my hai air dry and shower in the morning with out wetting hair and usin a straightener but that is really really bad for your hair.. the longer your hair the longer it going to take and the shorter the shorter itll take when i had short hair didnt take me that long.. try straighten at night .......i have tried those shampoos and conditioners but they dont work for me, i have curly hair not kinky but just curly so mabye wavey hair it may work on...

Use a round brush with metal in between the brissles. This will give a boost to the straightening process. Use a ceramic straightening iron, Revelon Stlyix works GREAT and is a decent price. A few minutes and you are good to go!!! No product needed to help straighten!

I know this isn't the answer but just wanted you to know that I would love to have curly hair, I think it is sooooo nice looking. I know if you blow and flat iron you can get it there. I have a friend who does all that but I honestly wish she would let it be, to me it looks better...my hair is dead straight and it is a pain and always looks kinda messy.......
