Actually, you'll want to be better prepared in the future. With the right cookbooks, you can serve up tasty treats for your friends and still be sanctimoniously biblical about it! Think of the sensation you'll cause when you whip out a tray of Spinach Balls, unleavened bread dippers with Avocado Olive Dip, Hummus, and Red Pepper Dip, and pass around the stuffed figs and pomegranate juice! Throw in a few food quotations from Scripture, and you'll be causing deadly sins in all your neighbors and friends!

L.J., I'd say you need to keep it simple. Bread, wine, fishes... That's really good enough for any occasion. Maybe a little manna for dessert. And honey is fine, but no locusts, though. Bleah.
