I heard a clip on tv about how infants are now being treated with viagara to treat them for something. Didnt catch the whole thing. Anyone know what this is about?

Yup. We use it in our hospital to treat infants with extremely low blood pressure. We have to specially make (compound) a liquid for the babies.

It was a last ditch effort to save this severely premature child. The lungs hadn't fully developed and was not getting enough oxygen to the primary organs. When organ failure began the doctors gave this child Viagra. Just as it dilates the very small blood vessels of the penis, it dilated the very small blood vessels of the lungs and saved this child's life.

I heard the same clip. They gave it to the baby to relax the blood vessels to improve circulation.
