I have lots of strands of little thin hair. My hair is slightly frizzy, and it does have some curl (more like wave). If I leave it air dry, it gets big and slightly wavy, if I add gel it gets pretty wavy, but I don't want it to look wet.

Do any of you reccomend any products that can excentuate the wave I already have and tame the frizz without making it "wet looking"?

If you want to make your hair CURLY try taking a few old t-shirts and cutting them into strips(about 12 inches long and one wide) and then wrap your hair around the middle of them, then tie the two ends together, do this with wet hair at night and sleep with them in, in the morning take them out and you have curly hair. If you want WAVY hair, braid your hair in a bunch of small, tight braids while your hair is wet, do this at night also and sleep with them in, in the morning when you take them out you will have wavy hair, the or braids the wavyer.

hey Jax

Towel-dry freshly washed hair and apply a volumizing mousse.
Comb through to make sure the mousse is evenly distributed. With your palms, gently push hair into waves, then clip waves into place.

This helps achieve a controlled wave with a finished, not frizzy, look.
Blow-dry with a diffuser attachment. When hair is dry, remove clips and separate waves with your fingers. Add extra gleam by smoothing two or three drops of shine serum over tresses. Do not brush hair after styling, or you'll wreck your waves.

do a bunch of french braids like about 20 or more with your hair damp. Then redampen it and let dry, then take out after dry. The more braids you do the wavier it will be. Too many might end up frizzy.

more simply, you can use a mousse, leave-in conditioner, or frizz creme, and then a curl creme. it'll form your waves and protect from frizz. this won't make your hair look wet like the gel will; it's a lot lighter
