i;ve got a CD that isnt a music CD but contains music and i cant rip it. so i want to know if there is a way to record only the sounds that my PC make, that come out of my speakers, and put it into .mp3 if its possible.

Put your cd in the drive and open it by right clicking on the drive and selecting open.
Look through the files for any audio or wave files click on them to try them if the are the ones you want save them to your hard drive using copy and paste then you can just play them or copy them to disk

You will need an additional piece of software.

I use Total Recorder by High Criteria.

Open Windows Media Player

Open Total recorder

Load the CD into Media Player but do not play it yet.

Clock on the record button on Total Recorder.

Click the play button on Media player

Sit back and enjoy.

You may have to adjust the settings on Total Recorder to make
it work.

Download a programme called audiograbber from the web, it's free and easy to use go to file select line in sampling and it will record the music you are playing from the CD Good Luck.
