Hi there.
It is impossible to get pregnant five days after you ovulate. The problem with that is that it is almost impossible for you to be sure just when you ovulated. If you could tell with absolute certainty that you ovulated on the 16th then I would tell you that you could not possibly be pregnant because the egg is only capable of being fertilized for 24 hours after ovulation. BUT, since it is quite possible that you ovulated on a different day that changes things.
Even so I really doubt that you could be 4 days off on what day you did ovulate. In order for you to have gotten pregnant on the 21st you would have had to ovulate no later than the 20th. That is pretty unlikely.
I do understand that you really want to be pregnant (and believe me I know how that feels!), but I would be surprised if you are pregnant. I think that the best thing for you to do is to think about next month and try to have sex for two days before you ovulate, that would be the best way to guarantee a pregnancy.
Good luck and I hope you get the results that you want!
Love and Blessings

regardless of once you had sex, you received't get pregnant until eventually you ovulate. that is no longer conceivable to fertilize an egg it truly is no longer there. So no, you won't be able to get pregnant 5 days before ovulation. Sperm stay for 3-5 days, so it truly is interior the component of danger that you obtain pregnant 5 days when you had sex.

I always read that implantation takes place between 7-10 days after ovulation so with there not being much difference between 5 and 7 days then perhaps it is possible!

I have always been told that the greatest chance for pregnancy is a week before and a week after. It would be a little early for symptoms or even a positive pregnancy test. You should know with in 4 weeks, thou. Here is a site I used while I was pregnant. It has a lot of info for preconception as well.

NO..you cannot get pregnant 5 days after ovulation.....the egg only lives for 24-48 hrs...you can get pregnant before ovulation,(because sperm can live up to 5 days and wait for the egg to be released), during ovulation, and 1 day after ovulation...anything after that you have missed the window for pregnancy to occur....Good Luck!

I think Lady trinity is full of BS. Although sex during ovulation is the easiest way to get pregnant. You can become pregnant at anytime of the month, even if you are on your period, which is a little harder to covcieve at this point but still possible.

You can get pregnant anytime even on your period. I hear these educated people say you can't, but they are full of ****, because I have a 13 yr old to prove it. I was sick immediately after I got pregnant.Good Luck.
