when it comes to discuss, question or answer to issues on religion.
It appears that the theists, come at the non-theist, should they give an opinion against the believe in God, that is fierce and censoring.
The atheists, one does not hear from that much.
They seem quietly resolved in their opinion to be who they are.
It seems to me, Buddhist by choice, not a believer in God or the Devil, that merely stating one's chosen opinion is just about worthy of beginning another Crusades or Holy war . . and for WHAT? If your God, supposedly, or according to YOUR beliefs, gave us all free will, why are you dropping your angry napalm of Fire and Brimstone on the rest of us, who have, as you do, the right to our own beliefs.
Is it that it is up to you, through resentful angry comments - to save the rest of us, you judge "infidels?'
My goodness your own wonderfully enlightened JESUS would wince at the anger catapalted through your resentment, that we all do not BELIEVE as you do!
Think about it? Hmm

It is part of human nature to not understand how people can be so different from yourself. I think we have seen examples of that at work here on Y!Answers R&S.

Part of the christian theology is to actively witness to unbelievers so that they may join the christian religion. Some christians do this passively by way of example. Others exhort vehemently. And still others try to argue, intimidate and threaten.

I find as you do, that the more extreme methods not only fail miserably, but taint the whole belief with their bad behavior.

I think most people who have a holier-than-thou attitude seem to forget that judgment is not their place as they aren't ruling the pearly gates. I face this problem all the time because I don't go to church, but the people around me are very religious. They honestly seem to think that going to hell is contagious. It's asinine.

I beg to differ, if I may. I am a Christian, and i find that it is Atheists who ask more taunting childlike questions of us Believers. Then when we answer directly with the Word of God, we are ridiculed. If you really don't believe and are set against God, then so be it! Go your way! Yet if you're serious and capable of an adult conversation without being afraid of disagreement or respect for everyone's beliefs, then I welcome you to the first of many debates. I however, choose to serve the Lord! Thank You for your time and God Bless You!

A friend of mine, Catholic nun, wrote a book that got her in trouble with the church. In it she said that the most Christlike people in the world were Buddhists.

I can see that in your post. :) Go Buddhists!

Why are you stupid ignorant athiests always replying with stupid offensive answers and starting stupid topics like this? I don't bother people with my religious rants unless the question really pisses me off and it's usually made by a stupid athiest. I don't give a f uck if you don't believe in God just stop offending religions. This is how I look at it, if God isn't real everyone goes to the same place when they die, if God is real all non believers go to Hell. Athiests are screwed either way.
