What can they do to you but waste a little of your time and maybe scare you at night ( if you're so chicken that is)?
The only books that can influence people to do evil things ( like hijacking airplanes or invading other peoples countries) are considered evil.

I'm Ok with some horror books, but not when it comes to bears being sent by god to tear apart misbehaving children (the Bible). That's way too evil.

I don't believe so. I love horror books and movies. Anne Rice is one of my favorite authors. But if YOU think they are evil for YOU...then that is your opinion.
