I also cannot open Windows in safe mode. The last time a new program was added to this computer was in 1/2007 and it has worked since then.
Should I use the recovery disk? Microsoft is no longer supporting this windows edition so I can't get help there! Thanks so much!

I have tried over and over again to reboot my computer and receive this error everytime. It will not go to my desktop. Thanks!

Sometimes it depends on what programs you are useing , try just shutting off the computer and restarting. Also, If you just added a new program to your computer, it might be the cause.
