No, the worms have exposure to outside disease and while they are good for irrigation they could pass disease onto your dog or at the least cause digestive problems. The biggest diesease you can be concerned about is leptospirosis because any animal that urinates on the soil that the earthworm consumes could transfer the fatal disease to the dog. The symptoms are very subtle and often unnoticable until it is too late. A group of people I trained dogs with contracted it and three dogs died and all of the dogs and people had to be treated for it. I urge you not to feed your dog earthworms or anything that is not properly inspected and approved for consumption.

NO!! Why on earth would you want to even consider it since there are all kinds of good dog foods on the market? Earthworms carry parasites themselves, one of which is a small worm called a urinary nematode. If your dog eats earthworms your dog will probably get this and end up with kidney disease from it.

Hee hee.
I'm sure if you fry them up and mix them with a little beef broth, your dog will eat them.
They are a good source of protein and plentiful. But, I don't think feeding him live earth worms is a good idea. Even birds kill the worms and bugs before they eat them.

Should be no problem. Don't worry about it. Your dog eats so many things you don't know about that earthworms should be considered a gift from god haha.
