You have a royal flush and it beats a full house. Make your buddy Pay Up!

10, J, Q, K, A of clubs is a Straight Flush, technically and its also called a royal flush. Both a Straight Flush and a Royal Flush beat a full house, so you win!

I'm just trying to figure out how you had this situation in Texas Hold'em.

It is all three, if you are playing texas holdem then it is impossible for your buddy to have the hand as you describe if you have a club royal flush. Anyways a royal flush beats a full house.

The only way it could be a Royal Flush is if you had the Ace of Clubs to go along with what you have. You are just showing a Flush. He wins with the full house. To see the rankings of what hand beat what you can download Hoyle's rules of Poker and how to play most games.

A Royal Flush IS a Straight Flush, just the best one. And yes, it beats a full house.

It's just a plain ordinary flush.....you need the 10, Jack Queen,King and ace for it to be a royal flush. and your buddy would need 3 kings and 2 of another suit to have a full house.
