but i like him and i think he likes me but he doesnt want a girlfriend...i think it may be cos he got cheated on by his last girlfriend. But how do i convice him he should have a girlfriend!?

If he says he doesn't want a girlfriend, take his word for it. You can't make someone like and trust you. If you continue to push him, you could end up getting used. Sometimes when guys say they don't want a girlfriend, they mean they just want a girl to have sex with. On the other hand, if he is a nice guy and that isn't how he means it, you could also end up pushing him away. Trust me, if you two are meant to be together, it will happen without you having to force the issue.

You can't convice anyone to like or trust you that you won't cheat on them or he should have a girlfriend just be his friend and then it might go from there

First, don't assume he why he doesn't want a girlfriend. Maybe he doesn't want a girlfriend because he wants to be single and play the field. Or maybe he just doesn't like you enough to be your boyfriend and said that to spare your feelings.
You can't make him think he should have a girlfriend. Accept his answer and just be yourself. Be a good friend and maybe one day he'll come around. If not, then you should move in.

That's hard, but I'd have to say to get him to trust you just have him get to know you better. Hang out with him more, but try not to push the subject of having a girlfriend for a while. Try that and hope it helped!

From experience i know this can be frustrating, but just give it time. Let him see that he can trust you, and eventually over time you'll get closer, and then you can be his girlfriend. He probably just needs a lil time, and you should support that. And if you don't want to wait, i guess you should just move on...and tell him your reasons.

If he doesnt want a girlfriend just respect that! If he just wants to spend time with you and enjoy your time together.. let it be until he is more comfortable. You cant force him to go out with you.. you can only be so gentle and kind to maybe lead him up to that point. He makes his own dicisions. Thats just how it goes :-)

Did he sturtter when he told you. Why would you want to make him want you for a girlfriend when he doesn't want one?mAre you that hard up for a boyfriend you feel you have to convince someone to like you? See how demanding you are now. Oh, just imagine how must worse it would get if he was your boyfriend.

Have patience, be his friend and don't worry about the "girlfriend" part of it. Trust will develop as you get to know each other and who knows where that will lead.

I want mine back. Cause I truelly know she is the only one I will do anything for .. hell a bit too much sometimes ... grown man acting and trying to damn hard to be a kid. I missed that and need to reallize I am the headstart man ... because of it.

who needs a girlfriend these days, you got time for the future, look at me, im 20, and i dont have a girlfriend...you can tell him forget about it, if he dont want a girlfriend, dont insist, let it go, and maybe he may want you in time.
