Is it possbile to bring an airsoft over the U.S.A. boarder to canada?

Airsoft IS legal in Canada - It's just very restricted. I'm staring right at the Canada Firearms Centre (CAFC) lawbook, and have been able to buy non-replica airsoft guns (the clear plastic ones that look like toys) in Vancouver, BC.

Here are some points:

-- Airsoft guns that closely resemble Real firearms are classified as Replica firearms and can only be imported by companies possessing a Business Firearms License. It is unlawful to sell or transfer Replica Firearms without this license.
-- Above 500 ft/s and 5.7 joules, air guns are considered Controlled Firearms and must be registered.
-- No legal distinction is made between airsoft and true firearms when they are used for the purposes of crime. Committing a crime with an airsoft is subject to the same punishment as a crime with a real gun.
-- In Ontario the minimum age to purchase airsoft is 14. Children under 14 must be supervised by someone over 14.

If you are carrying over an airsoft that is NOT a realistic replica, and is under 500 ft/s, you may bring it over - However It may be subject to inspection, and it is not permitted for resale.

If in doubt, call the CAFC.

no, you would probably get it taken away, and the border patrol might think you're gonna like do something bad to canada with it

i have never been to canada but i have been told that wrapping up items in birthday or christmas wrapping paper works well.
