If I was an important figure in the broadcast arena or talk shows (radio or TV), I would be looking for positive things to talk about that the soldiers of USA are doing to make the world a better place. What is so hard about doing something positive for our TROOPS? :(

Because the American Media is 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% LIBERAL

Because most of the media is Liberally biased. There is a stigma about that the Iraq War is unwinnable, put out by the media. I could never grasp the hatred Liberals show towards our military, so I can't help you there, but I do know that the negative, or made-up negative is more popular to the liberal audience than to show our soldier's doing good deeds, praising the administration of George Bush. Remember Liberals are out to take control of the government, at any cost, even to the lives of our military.

Simply put the media would not dare give the Troops a fair media. This would be like rating falling to zero, for them. They only want to report the negative side of our Troops. They are a afraid of beaning shot by the terrorist. They want every one to cry if one of them get wounded or killed. Why because they fill that the Troops did not protect them from harm. Yet these same troops our sent out to protect them and in many cases have lost their lives in doing this. Then they can accuse the troops for murder or going against the rules of war, because they saved their asses.

Media like to sell......make money and ratings....Good stuff doesn't conjure up any of that. Feel good stuff is just that. The media like to focus on the things that incite discussions, debate and fighting.
I have tried on numerous occasions to inform the media of the good thing that are happening in Iraq, to no avail.

Check these sites...this is the real Iraq...not what the media and Libs are telling us.

Just like in VietNam...they only counted body bags....never the positive things..

The media is, again trying to lose the war, for us...they will sell lots of papers and air time, if they succeed. Its another reason why Libs are now against the war, they voted for. They get lots of good airtime, by bashing the president and the war. Free Publicity

The "drive-by" media are all far-left, whacked out liberals. They will report whatever they want, truth or not, good news or bad, to help push the liberal agenda in America. The left is infested in defeat in Iraq, and the war on terrorism, so the "drive-by" media will report that everything is going bad in the war to make the republicans, and President Bush look bad.

Yes we all know that the MSM is liberally biased. Watch news programs like Fox, and listen to some Conservative radio stations and you will hear about the progress and "Good Things" happening in Iraq.

Bad news does sell and the liberal controlled news like CNN and the like, will not further their Socialist agenda if they let the people know what is really going on.

How many times do you see a "postive news story" from anybody in the media? Unfortunatly bad things get much Higher ratings than good things when it comes to the news and since news companies are in it for profits they have to show much more of the bad than good. I know it's unfair but life is unfair and that's just how it goes. If US troops are doing something good tell them to pick up a camera and then download it on to youtube.com. Then they will get a lot of good coverage of their good deeds.

because GOOD NEWS all the time will just lower ratings,, the media cares less about how now little Enis in iraq can go to school and she get an education.. Or how teachers in iraq make double under their new government. this is not news.. News is .002% of teh poulation shooting, blowing themselves up because its fashionable. America and the world like the gore..its like stopping at a trafiic accident... you do not want to look but you do...

Because good news is not as interesting as bad news.

I think because the media tends to be rather liberal. I personally find it frustrating because there are many good stories out there that are never mentioned. (Have heard said stories first hand from returning soldiers.)
