I just got my first boyfriend 2 weeks ago, he has had many girlfriends in the past and is very experienced while i am not. On our first day going out he tried to go to second base i told him to stop. it has made me really uncomfortable around him. He understands that im not like that. I really like him alot but i dont know if ill be ready for that anytime soon, how can i avoid him trying something like that again?

If he understands, then you're fine. Make sure that he really understands, so that he doesn't try anything like that again until you are ready. I don't think that he would try anything like that to you in public, so when you hang out, go somewhere where everyone can see you so that you two aren't totally alone. Get to know him more and be ready for him to try it again.

If he understands that you aren't ready, he should lay off trying that.

Your best bet is to talk about it properly, and explain that when you're ready you'll make sure he knows.

Explain to him how you feel. If he respects you he will understand & carry out your requests on this matter. If not move on & find someone that is mature enough to respect your wishes/desires on this.

If he tries it again put it to a stop -he obviously is not respecting you and your decisions!
