i was in line at the bank the other day and some guy was going on and on about some trivial crap and never said "hi" or "thank you" to the girl behind the counter.... man cell phones piss me off!
the whole time it was this:
"well, is it in your truck?..... i didnt look there either.... well, anyway, how are you getting there? did you talk to phil?..... no, take a left on 117, and you'll see it..... i dunno, i think we're having chicken..... no, couldnt find it either...... well, did you check in the work truck?"
and this just went on and on. the guy didnt even acknowledge that there was a living breathing human being in front of him. he didnt even make eye contact! what a complete tool!
and what else i hate.... is when people that know me get mad at me for not checking my phone for messages, or try calling my phone before trying other lines. i'm a simple guy, and i work at least 6 days a week, if not all 7. if i'm not at home, i'm at work, and if i'm not there, give it ten minutes and chances are i'll be at one of the two within ten minutes. call me at home, call me at work, but unless its an emergency, dont call my stupid cell phone! i hate fishing it out of my coat pocket in the car while i'm buckled and trying to drive, and i WILL NOT answer it at work unless its my grandmother or something. GRRRRR!!!!! and then they leave a message on it and get mad that i dont check! my voice mail even says "call me at work or at home because i only use this phone for emergencies".
damned cell phones!!! people should get tickets for disturbing the peace if they dont have proper cell phone manners.

It is bad to speak loudly anywhere. Why only talk about speaking over cellphones. Half the time rest assured that the people who scream in public are only craving for attention or simply showing off.
Fails my comprehension, if they scream so loud - why cellphone at all, the other person can hear it directly, whichever place, city or town they live in :-)
Unless someone is stone deaf, it is preferred to be gentle on your vocal chords. It then is gentle on everyone's eardrums( and patience too)

Gentlemen always talk gently not only while speaking on a cell phone or otherwise. Or else it becomes a public nuisense or somtime a J O K E.

Buy a cheap Bluetooth, then start answering their questions, responding to their comments. If they notice and look at you, pretend like you just noticed them, point to the earpiece, scowl and continue talking about "Billy is so loud and rude, I can't believe somebody hasn't clocked him yet." Turn and go back to the commentary on their phone call.

Talking loud in private or public is bad manners. It is very uncooth and uncultured.
Discussing private relationships on a phone is worse.

it is not ok. it is wrong and crude.
mobile etiquette should be followed and no one wants to hear ur voice going blah blah and talking a lot of non stop nonsense just bcz u happen to love hearing ur own voice! right?
so talking loud anywhere on mobile is a big no no!

it may disrupt other students in class if you talk loud, the proper way is to step outside and then talk...so the teacher wont get mad or anything. on you tube i watched a short video where a boys cell phone was ringing, and the prof ess or got the phone and boom!! he crushed to the floor!! and bam, its broken.

I find it annoying. I'd like to do the same as you but with an old fashioned handset and a frayed wire coming off it.
