YES deffintly... they have certain flossing kits you can buy at walmart to help you floss between your braces. YES its a hassle but you need to keep your gums in great shape especially when your teeth are taking a toll of moving from the braces.

yes, floss, floss, floss. maybe even more then normal. i had braces the same time a girl in my class did & we got them taken off at the same time...she didn't floss and you could tell, she had spots where all the plaque had built up between and on her teeth during her braces phase. everyone thinks it's a joke & just rolls their eyes at their dentist (which i did too, not gonna lie!) but i'm glad that i DID floss.
it isn't worth it..you get those nice braces and they make your smile so pretty, if you don't floss/brush good, it isn't even worth it!
best of luck! oh, and your ortho should have special "threaders" he can give you so you can get between the braces eaiser. i still use them for the permi retainer i have on the bottom teeth.

Yes! You can buy special flossers that work around braces. If you don't you can get cavities between your teeth which is a pain to fix.
