Check this out. I'm 24 and just got Married a year ago. My wife is 25 and both of us were virgins until our wedding night. Is it hard to stay that strong? Sometimes. It all depends on you. If you have decided not to have sex prior to marraige then good on you. It is the right thing to do.
As far as the rest of the World, I agree with you. Too many people are having sex out of the bonds of marraige. Why do you think STDs are so popular now. Anyway, I know what it's like to be the only virgin around...I'm a Marine. If you haven't heard, Marines have the reputation of getting the women, having sex, being heavy drinkers, fighters, and goodlooking. It was and is tough being the only one with high morals. Atleast I have the goodlooking part down.
Good luck. Your future marraige will be all the better because you waited.

Me think you protest too much! Joking aside, what we don't need is a morality police. I think we should treat morality as a personal thing. In the early biblical period, and even now in certain dying customs. Married back then is defined differently. Men and women freely have sex, if the woman got pregnant then they are pronounced married.
Society customs and practices evolve over time..they change, whether for the better or for worse, that's to the eye of the beholder. What does not change though is our life cycle..nature takes care of that. So if you want to spend your youth waiting for that elusive something or live life proactively, that's a choice...either way it does not diminish you in my eyes.
Sadly, many people desires strongly to impose their views to others with unlike minds. Revealing clothes? Can't have that, let's put them in Burkas. Seductive faces? Hey, let's put them behind veils. Doesn't believe in my version of Allah? Get me my scimitar! Don't believe in my version of religion...ummm! Where's that brain washing book of mine! To me these are forms of tyranny.
I am not sure what's the lure of virginity unless we are shooting to be candidates for the alleged 7 virgins that awaits suicide bombers at the pearly gates. Say! If there were fewer virgins to fill the 7 virgin slots, would that reduce the number of non too bright suicide bombers?
Well, I am glad they don't burn people to the stakes anymore, else I presume I'd be the first to go.

Not everyone thinks like you do. Most people now want to try out the merchandise before committing to a marriage or living together. They did this long before you where even born but not as open as they are in this day and age. Live with it or start dating and find out what sex is all about.

Dont be too one sided it is totally possible for people to be generally in love even if they don't wait to have sex. But I also have met many people who are virgins even a 40 year old.Jus be happy that you have the means to control yourself until you are ready some don't and that does not make them bad or weaker or not generally being in love. But when you do have sex outside of marriage you surely have to deal with alot of things that you wouldnt otherwise would have to deal with. But in american sex is everywhere and we cant really change that but it jus adds to peoples desires and makes them feel they cant wait.

stay strong! your future wife will love, respect and adore you for it. not to mention, it IS the right thing to do. morality has been going downhill for many many years, but it doesn't change wrong to right. one of my prouder moments was turning a girl down(she was a virgin) that I was in love with. I went overseas and she married another guy. turned out he was extremely jealous, and he probably would have abused her if she had had premarital sex with anyone.

i agree. i hate girls wearing revealing clothing. my friends and i never wear that kind of stuff, not even bikinis and ps i think that showing off cleavage ect is actually making the problem worse as it is making girls already using their parts to attracked attention they say why not sex. i hate that kind of stuff! and feel v. strongly about sex before marrage is just wrong.
