avoid chat up lines at all costs they just come across as sleazy i personally hate them its better to just approach a lady and start a conversation with her be polite and friendly and offer to buy her a drink that always helps. the fact that u approached her will let her know that u r interested in her therefore no chat up line is needed!

A lot of it depends on the type of person you are, I've heard some guys come out with the cheesiest lines ever and somehow they've managed to make them work.
I hate using chat-up lines myself, but I think generally if you're the confident sort, you can pretty much say anything to a girl. All you're looking for is a positive response to begin with, so as long as you don't present yourself as a ****, you're usually alright.
