ok, when i went to the orthodontist, he forgot to put my wire back in the last bracket so for the last while it has been loose in my mouth, (not attached to anything at one end) now i bit down on something and the wire BROKE! technically it was the orthodontists fault, so what should i do? am i in trouble? i have the damon system. what is a good story to tell him? has this happened to anyone? my next appointment is march 26. my wires have broken before, but any ideas to hide this from my parents/orthodontist?

Nothing will happen if you just tell the truth. Things like this happen and it will cost you nothing. The Dr. will fix it and thats that. No need to hide anything or make a Big Deal of it.

Do not freak out! Its okay. The orthodontist can replace wires and it is not likley that you have eaten any loose pieces. Many orthodontist do Emergency Appointments for stuff like what happened to you. No, you probably not in trouble! Stay calm call your orthodontist home phone (if after hours) and have him come in for a Emergency Appointment. Relax!

make an appontment immediately, without all brackets wired, you are going to get behind schedule and possibly get an injury or infection.

dont hide it get it fixed imm. call the OD and tell them what happened and tell your parents so that you will be more responsible
