What if someday through science you were guaranteed to live forever on Earth. But you had to throw your Bible, Quran, etc away in order to receive this treatment. Would you do it?

Thats a really good question. I thought about it for a while and i decided that if this were possible, i would throw it away becuase my religion wouldnt make sense. But since it isnt going to happen, I'm sticking with my religion.

I already threw away the mythology. Though I wouldn't want my scientific/technological eternal life to start until after we'd broken the light-speed barrier.

No, too many movies like, " Green Mile ", "Dracula", make it clear the insanity of living forever in our current state of humanity. I want to die (Rapture would be better), and then be perfected by God in an everlasting body in harmony with God.

NO way! There is a world waiting for us (Heaven) that will be far greater than life on this sad earth! I wouldn't give up my religion and destiny for anything!

no, but not cause i'm terribly attached to religion. i just think it would suck some of the fun out of living if it was never going to end.
