good luck first off no one is supposed to sell a car without a title call your local state police headquarters they can explain what you can do in your state its a real pain to do if the vehicle is over 10 years old get a hotrod magazine look for an add from alabama titles

If the junk yard does not have the title, then with a bill of sale you can file for a lost title or a salvage title on that vehicle. Contact your Department of Motor Vehicles for the proper way to do it.

i own a shop, and you can get a title for it ,i bought a wrecked one from a junk yard a while back,i just went and had them run the numbers off the car and then the tile came back in there name, and i took it to the previous owners house and they signed it,,and it was mine,it took one day and cost me about 20 bucks total to do it,the junk yard can get you one also, but there going to be lazy and let you do it all, good luck,i hope this help,s.
