Sprained my ankle and knee on them, two separate occasions when I was a kid.
Still, in the long run, I think they're healthier for kids than TV or video games. I'll probably be buying one for mine.

No they are not safe. More kids are injured or killed by trampolines that any other back yard item including swimming pools. I broke a leg, dislocated my shoulder and puncture a lung as a result of falling off a trampoline. Parent do things that at the time seam mean but it's just that your mom doesn't want u to get hurt. Plus if u break ur neck and wind up paralyzed she'll have to be the one to wipe your butt, feed u, give u baths and take care of u.

My mom said that too. But I told her that we could get a net that surrounds it. That way, if you lose control, you will run into a net and not the ground. She went for it and we bought a trampoline. I have a 15 foot one and i love it. When doing flips and tricks and stuff make sure that you either land on your feet or your knees.

i probably wouldnt let my kids do them eiter UNLESS everything AROUND it is soft, padded and safe.i dont think its the trampoline n and of itself thats so dangerous but what u could fall on if your silly little tail jumped off by accident.for instance,u ever seen on funniest home videos how they jump so high on the trampoline that they either fall THROUGH onto concrete ground or fall OFF onto concrete ground or some hard items laying nearby....so id suggest a tramoline in a well padded open space without any hazards nearby.......ok? and uh remember....mommy's ALWAYS know best! oh yeah, one more thing that mommy may b tryna say is that no matter what u fall on,u could fall WRONG and land on your neck and.......u know what i mean....so thats dangerous not to mention something u cant control....no one can control HOW they land when they fall so .....b careful and if mom says no......i guess u'll have to wait to jump on one when u buy one for your kids birthday party....YEARS from now!

It depends. They are safe when you jump carefully, espically with the net. If you are doing flips you should make sure that your mom approves and you are able without hurting yourself. Otherwise, it is safe!

They are safe as long as you don't hit the ground and break either your arm, leg or neck.

They are safe, but they can be dangerous. Mybe your mom is just saying that because she just doesn't want to buy one, they are pretty expensive.
