What is setup exe?

I was dowmloading a program of the internet and at one stage it said run setup exe how do you do this and what does it do it may sound simple but not to me

Setup.exe is the file that you would click on to install the program on your computer. It is the file that makes the program work on your computer. Usually when you click on the setup.exe icon it will run through the setup process for you. All you really have to do is follow the instructions and answer yes to them.

You need to know where the certain setup.exe file is that you downloaded. When you download it will usually, but not always, tell you where it put this file. If you don't know where it downloaded it to, then download it again and read very carefully where it says it is putting it. Don't worry about downloading it a second time. It will just over write the first download, which is OK.

most people even me, get the computer plug it in and expect it to work, set up is the first thing you have to learn, not the Internet or the Microsoft programs you have to set them up in order so they work.
the other thing is you have to put the right letters or numbers in and make sure they are correct like dowmloading.

That is the starting program to install the program it comes with. Double click on it and the process starts.
