As of 1996, Mexican visitors do not need to have a visa to visit France unless they plan on staying there for more than 90 days.

The best place to find your answer would be the mexico embassy; you can call or write them. They will be able t tell you what you need and how to get it. I believe that you would need to have a visa to get into france. Since you are a resident of US it should not be a problem coming back in to the US.
