I have one and I love it. Not only does it have great milage, but it has fun gagets built in, like the voice-activated navigation system. Plus I think it looks really nice. If you want to read what more Prius owners have to say, go to www.priuschat.com.

It's a great car but like almost all vehicles it does not usually get the mileage that the EPA claims.

Remember it’s not the manufacturer that provides the mileage estimate, it’s the EPA. Time and again Toyota has pointed out that the Prius does not/will not get the city or hiway mileage the EPA claims. And the testing protocol used by the EPA, which is the same as used for “conventional” cars, is not a valid test for hybrids. That said, the EPA numbers do provide a reasonable relative ranking of mileage. But as they say “you’re mileage can vary!”

My wife has one an i cant pry the keys from her hand well its not a key she calls it a fob because all you have to do is have it in your pocket and the car will start. its a great engine cause it is a Toyota it gets about 47 miles per gallon yes they say you wont but she does she does not jack rabbit from stop lights and drives sensibly so i like it and she already has 60000 on it . Talked to a mechanic at toyota and he has yet to replace batteries so that's is it is a good car

Don't have one, but I heard on the news the other night that they claim that they will get 50-60 mpg, and in actuality it is only 37!

The guy who sits next to me at work has had one for about a month. He's loving it and says he's getting about 47 mpg.

I have one, and I *LOVE* it! It's the most comfortable, reliable car I've EVER owned. and despite the naysayers, I've been getting anywhere between 40-60 mpg. ;P
