not prevents just changes. we can't just have a quickie in the afternoon anymore because as soon as my 4 yr old notices we are missing she comes up stairs to find us. and i swear the kid has radar because she notices we are missing right away. lol. so we just find ways around it...wait till they are in bed. and grammy and pap take them once a month so mommy and daddy can go out to dinner and have a romantic night alone.

I have a 5 month old baby, a 3 year old son and I often babysit my nephews who are 4 and 7 with a lot of overnights trips. I've found that it is easier to have sex when they are older rather than babies. When they are older, they sleep through the night, go to bed early usually, and pretty much stay to themselves after bedtime. Before my youngest son was born we had many more opportunities to be intimate than we do now. And as they get even older, they will be away from home in the eveneing and at night and therefore you will have even more alone time.

Of course not. This is something that only you and your husband has control over. Things get better with maturity, so just have fun, and keep the spice going!

It doesn't prevent it limits times and I think you need to be very quiet about it. I feel compelled to be very discrete once they know about sex. Nothing worse than knowing your parents are having sex. I remember and won't go there with my kids.

NOPE, in our house, if our bedroom door is closed, the older kids know to leave us alone, the younger one's haven't quite caught on yet....but since we hardly EVER close our bedroom door in daylite...., when it's shut, they know we are messin' around, and they probably run as far the other direction as they can...LOL

No. It just limits you to when and where you have sex.
