We are going there in June but I have done my homework so here is what I can tell you. Do not go into the town by yourself. If you want to go like to the market go with a tour guide. Jamaica is a very poor country and they will do anything to get money. And they will want to braid your hair and they will pull on it so wear a hat. I heard that the Booze Cruise is a must do. They basically take you on a huge sail boat and they give you Jamaican rum punch to drink all that it is so fun. Also the water falls are a must see and I was told to bring some water shoes because if you decide to do this. Because they have good grips and they of course are made for water. And I was also told that the horseback riding is fun too. The horses actually take you into the ocean. Pretty cool. But you guys have fun! I know I can't wait! Good Luck!

My husband and I went to Sandals in St.Lucia and we love the chain so much because the staff their are so great! The resort itself is so romantic and they have so many swimming pools. My husband and I would go swimming at night and bathing suites were removed in the pool...I won't say anymore:))) But we had alot of privacy. Sandals is a great choice!! Also, the food is fabulous and they have various restaurants on the resort as well...you will be impressed.

We stayed at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica a pair of years in the past...that they had only opened. We went with yet another couple and actually enjoyed it. It became each and all of the flaws you reported. there have been a impressive style of events and eating selections, yet you additionally can do no longer something and carry out pool or coastline facet. each little thing became meticulously clean, and the staff have been courteous. each and all of the rooms have ocean front balconies, and that is superb to order breakfast and characteristic it on your balcony. of direction, I additionally remember getting an extraordinarily solid fee on the holiday via fact we booked it earlier they have been even open. the only downside is that it rather is a 40 5 minute or so bus experience from the airport. i do no longer understand if Ochos Rios is closer. Sorry that i won't be able that should assist you with Couples. savour your honeymoon!
