I don't think you need to be worrying about coming off rude, she's writing on school property, thats rude. YOu tell her you saw her name, ask her if she did it, and tell her that is wrong. And if she didn't do it, tell her never to.

She needs to have a proper punishment, like make her clean it. You can say it kindly, but she needs to know this is defacing of public property and in the real world there is a fine for it.

She is going to be mad at you, but if you saw this and this is her handwriting, it needs to be delt with. Also, she will say well other kids have done this, just in a kind tone remind her that you are responsible for her actions not other childrens. You can make arrangement with the principal to have her do it when no other children are around. There is this stuff at lowes called greased lighting and it will take it right off. Want even be any elbo grease to put in it.

You are not being rude, you are teaching her respect of other peoples property.

Is this your child? If not, I'd let her parents deal with it, but if she is your daughter I would talk to her about the destruction of school property and why that's not a good thing to do. I would then take her to the bathroom to clean her name off the wall, don't help at all, the harder she has to scrub, the more she'll think twice about it next time.

Why would you worry about being rude?? Its wrong of her to write on the bathroom walls and she needs to be told that its wrong and if you find out she did it again , or the school catches her doing it, then there will be consequences for it.

If she is your kid and she has done something wrong, what are you worried about being rude to her for? Give her a severe lecture about destruction of public property and make sure there are no doubts in her mind that if you find that sort of misbehavior again, you are going to ground her little butt for a month (at least!).

What do you mean rude. Are you the parent? Would you worry about being rude if she was writing on the wall at home?
Let her know you saw it. If it was my child, she would be cleaning it up too.

Who cares about being rude?! Your 7 year old is not 5. She should understand that school property is not her property, and if she wishes to wreck it then she should have consequences.
Have her apologize to the principal and/or scrub the name off herself.
