im the administrator, and id like to get the task manager back.
something wiered is goin on wit my comp, avg comes up every 30 mins with a new trojan or trojan downloader,

It has good downloads to detect and eliminate spyware/adware.

Is your computer part of a network? If not, you should try to run a program like Spy Sweeper. If the program cleans up the problem you're in business. If not, you should make sure your data is backed up and then restore your system to original. You will wipe out any virus, but you'll lose your data. After you restore your computer, you can restore your data from the back-up.

See if you can go to the symantec site and run their free remote virus checker. They may be able to find and fix it.
