What about this summer? April or May? I heard that Singapore always holds a big sale bonanza from May to June. Is this true?

Go during the Great Singapore Sale! You'd find lots of great buys. During Christmas, the hotels put on their holiday price package (more expensive rooms and difficult to get room bookings unless you do it months in advance).

Singapore Great Sale is indeed from May to June. But the better sale is the Christmas year end sale in December. Better stuff on sale then.

weather wise, it's pretty much the same all year round. If this is going to be a shopping trip, try to schedule it around the Great Singapore Sale (mid of the year, July/August) or in December.

yup thats right its actually a yearly event. Best if you come end of May cause that is where the great singapore sale starts usually its from end of May til july cheers!!
