I think my forefathers made a HUGE mistake coming to the US.

I grew up in Detroit and I visited Europe last year and it was such an eye-opening experience. I asked myself how in the heII did my ancestors leave this beautiful place to go to freaking Detroit?

I have never seen happier people. Europeans eat better, live better, work better, have no medical bill worries etc. Not to mention the beautiful classical artful scenery. America is so ugly in comparison - strip mall after strip mall and franchise after franchise.

Which country in western Europe is easiest to get immigration approval to?

Europe is great and i'm glad you agree. I have an american friend who lives in Germany on a study visa. The UK would be easy for you because you speak our language, sort of. (only kidding) Your first step is to contact the embassy of whatever country you want to go to. Do you want citizenship or just to live in the EU? It's a long and complicated process but good luck to you.

I can understand you're wanting to move but we in England are fed up with prices going up and up and up. Our NHS which you refer to as 'free medical bills' is now mot the same as it used to be. We have to pay for medication and treatment. Our Coincil Tax is going up by 5%. Our postal charges have gone up.
Many people are moving from here to live on the continent where the weather is warmer and they don't have such outrageous

utility bills. Some elderly people move out to Spain for the entire winter period.

Your gasolene is much cheaper and that goes for several other items too as far as I can remember.
Summing up - the grass is not always greener !

Southern Europe, man. Go where it don't snow, if there's anywhere in Europe with no snow. I'm not sure. I'm from Los Angeles, so if I move anywhere, the weather has got to be great.
