Those people are disgusting. I am not a Christian, but I am fully aware that these people are not, either. However, I think there are many Christians who, deep down, agree with what the Westboro Baptists have to say, and are simply unwilling to share it because they know it will get them lambasted.

that's a situational element an excellent sort of the time. the two video clips i could call that had the main efficient result on me? a million. The Exorcist (Linda Blair spitting pea soup). however the scene that even have been given me became into the desecration of a church. It stricken me lots. Now, don't get me incorrect. i'm an atheist right this moment, yet I wasn't an atheist whilst that action picture first got here out. i do no longer disrespect people sufficient to desecrate the homes wherein they worship. I basically take place to no longer believe the undertaking and foundation of their worship, that's all. i think of it became into the severe cruelty that stricken me. 2. the element (John chippie's version). the place they have a frozen physique on a table doing a very messy post-mortem and the damned element thaws on them. the top right this moment grows spider legs and walks away. That freaked me out in a microsecond.

It shocked me how she smiled and looked proud while she was being called sick, etc. Her whole interpretation of the Bible shocked me, too! I mean I guess anyone can interpret it in anyway they want to, but to say that it is encouraging the spread of diseases like AIDS is just crazy. Personally, I think that it is our responsiblity to cure AIDS, and that through it we can show the capibilities and intelligence of our human brains, but that's a whole different story. And how un-Christian she was, saying that she HATES Catholics, she HATES Jews! At Church I have been taught to not hate anybody, for that hate will only lead you in the wrong direction and does absolutely no good. I'm sure it says to not hate people somewhere in that Bible. Is it possible she looked over that part...? And how she said that the Holocaust never happened- that's crazy. I just don't even know where to start on that one.
Almost everything she said in that interview was insane, barbaric, and overall just shocking (and scary!). The most shocking of all, though, was the disrespect she showed towards the family of the dead soldiers. I have no personal connection to soldiers in Iraq, but I know that if I was grieving over the death of a loved one I would not be in the mood to listen to some crazy woman telling me that God wanted him/her killed and that this was all part of His plan. How helpless I would feel! Through religion I have learned that God values each and everyone of the lives on earth, so him wanting people killed from the start doesn't really fall into the same idea. This was the part that bothered me the most, but I think it's pretty obvious by now that I disagree with everything that came out of that woman's mouth!

I only got through a couple of seconds of that clip because of internet problems but I was horrified that people that call themselves Christians would do something that disrespectful. There is a place for not agreeing with the war and telling others that but to say he deserved to die just because he was a soldier is not what a true Christian would or should ever say. Please do not take this as typical of what Christians believe now while I don't entirely agree with us going to war I have tremendous respect for those who went over and fought in it.

That is the sickest thing I have ever seen. Where do those people get off on what they were doing? My husband and I both served for our country and we might not agree with everything that goes on but we had a job to do and we did it. Those people are just sick to go to a soldiers funeral like that and show their butts. The family of that soldier did not deserve that. As far as I am concerned that man died a hero. I would love to see the military snatch up every single one of those protesters and make them serve our country. Let them go see what is going on, on the other side of the world. Those people are just sick.

I'm sorry, but obviously they follow the bible and not the words of Jesus.
Jesus did not condem the soldiers nor did he pass judgement on people who are different.
Remember the tax man and the Pharisies.
The people hated the tax man but Jesus forgave him because he was in need of forgiveness. People like the Pharisies are blinded by their over zealousness. I go as far to say that those people in that video are the Pharisies and are the ones to blame to kill the good word of Jesus and make his sacrifice vain and unimportant.
cheers

I am a Christian, and a Marine Veteran. I totally disagree with her church's doctrine. Haven't you ever disagreed with another Atheist? I still believe in God and Jesus and The Holy Spirit! You still don't, now what?

I am not a Christian. I really couldn't watch the whole thing. Those aren't real Christians, they are rude people who need to shut their mouths. My grandmother is a Christian and she would never disrespect a soldier, a funeral, or someone who she thought was a child of god.

Those are the Westboro Baptists. They are disgusting. They say GOD HATES FAGS, but they are the real ABOMINATIONS.
I am sure God has a special place prepared for them.
