I believe God or Jesus controls the weather and I mean down to the square mile. How or What are all of you all's beliefs on this?
I'm not asking about the suffering or deaths that these things all cause. I just want to see some people admit that God is doing all this. For the non-believers, you don't believe in this but just think, IF you are wrong, then WOW, what powerful God he really IS!!

what a hornets nest of non believers I stirred up!! They can not accept it and YES, he does control the tides and the melting of the poles, not that humans haven't helped the warming of the atmosphere.

God does not control the climate anymore than he controls stupid questions or stupid answers. And Jesus certainly has better things to do than monitor the weather.

And you can't subtract the loss of life from your supposed Weather God!!!

A system was created. Beyond that, it is designed to run on its own.

Please don't tell us that God also controls bowel movements.

The Bible proclaims that Jesus Christ holds all of nature together (Colossians 1:16-17). Could God prevent natural disasters? Absolutely! Does God sometimes influence the weather? Yes, see Deuteronomy 11:17 and James 5:17. Does God sometimes cause natural disasters as a judgment against sin? Yes, see Numbers 16:30-34. The book of Revelation describes many events which could definitely be described as natural disasters (Revelation chapters 6, 8, and 16). Is every natural disaster a punishment from God? Absolutely not.

try satan
heb 2:14 Therefore, since the “young children” are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly partook of the same things, that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil
look what happen to job
Finally came the worst news. An unusual wind devastated the house of his firstborn and killed all his children, who were gathered there. Faced with such suffering, would Job blame God? How would you have felt in his place?—Job 1:13-19.

a great windstorm tried to kill jesus and his apostles on the sea in a small boat. who caused that. maybe satan.

of course satan doesnt control all weather just as god doesnt control all weather.
who is the cause of global warming not god or satan but man

I believe God when he created this earth and everything in it and said it was GOOD. However, when Satan was cast out of the heaven for being rebellious, God allowed him to retain some power and allowed him to be the prince of the air. Therefore, what God created that was good has now been polluted by Satan. This would include natural occurences in our weather pattern (not to mention man's contribution to helping pollute the earth too). Again, this is my opinion but Satan uses the good things of God's creation (cause he can't create anything in and of himself being a created being himself, so he borrows from God). I think Satan loves to do this so people true to form will blame God for all these disasters that come upon us. God is still in control though. But I agree with you that our God is an awesome and powerful God. Thunder can be really scary.

I believe the uneven heating of the earth, the moons gravitational pull, spin of the earth, and a few other things influence the atmosphere causing weather. Not god.

Yes, God controlls all the weather. And when there is a natural disaster it's usually because the people who suffer it are collectively sinning and that is one of God's ways of getting their attention.

I don't think God controls the weather....he created the world to work in a certain way and created us to work in a certain way and then have left it up to us to make choices on our path for spiritual learning.....part of the path is also the experience of tragedy as well as love.

I had a friend that said he could make it lightning, he pointed his finger at the sky and it surged out of the sky, i believe we have divine powers within all of us, its just some refuse to acknowledge that these abilities are from God, instead they demonize anyone having abilities that they cannot understand.

What He DID do was set up the parameters of Creation according to what we call the Laws of Physics.

According to these laws, which all of nature MUST perforce follow, weather does its schtick.

It's not like God sits somewhere on a throne orchestrating every drop of rain that falls. He could, but he's got better things to do with eternity, like creating, rejoicing in and loving us!

God also directs the movements of every biting tormenting little insect on the planet.
God directs the movement of every bacteria to the exact molecule of crap he wants it to eat.
God controls the exact location of every atom of hydrogen in the Oceans, and that is just on earth. God controls the entire universe.
Can you imagine how many bits of information it must take for god to exist.

You have just posted the simplest and most eloquent argument for the nonexistance of God there is.
