wellbutrin is get for some people in kick depression, but because of the nuerotrasmitters it hits, its not good for anxiety at all. you really need to hit serotonin if anxiety is a big component for you. lexapro is the stronger serotognic antidepressant, and has the fewest side effects (less likely to gain weight) and it seems to help most with anxiety. however without insurance it costs about 120 dollars a month. a second line of choice would be a generic drug, like paxil (paroextine), prozac (fluoxetine), celexa (citapram) zoloft, or luvox (fluvoxetine). prozac is generally considered second best after lexapro, because fewer people gain weight on it. also, a lot of medication works for a couple of years and then just stops working, but prozac seems to have been working for some people for over then years continously.

RE :What is a good anxiety/depression medication that is cheap?
Well I dont have insurance and right now I'm on Wellbutrin XL 150 mg. But when I go out the anxiety dont seem to be any better so now I am going to be taking two pills a day. So that would be like 300 mg. But I'm thinking bout talking to my doctor about gettting on a brand that is basically for social anxiety and depression. But I have no insurance and I can't spend a million dollars on pills. So what would be a good brand for me to get on? Non-generic and generic brand? Please Help..

Carry your medication in your hand luggage together with your prescription. You don't need to declare it but it may show up on x-rays and attract attention otherwise. I usually try to declare something as the 'something to declare' lines are usually shorter and you usually get through after a quick question about your declaration and no search. Remember that Australia's quarantine regulations are very strict and you must declare any food - that includes even a chocolate bar or an apple you were given on the plane. You must also declare things like your straw hat or those wooden salad servers you're bringing as a gift. The apple won't get through, but all of the other things should be OK but you must declare them. Random bag searches are carried out and if you don't declare your medication or anything else you're not sure about and are worried about not having done so, you will probably exhibit the telltale signs of someone with something to hide and will be far more likely to be selected for screening.

Rescue Remedy from the health food store...about $11 a bottle, 4 drops under the tongue every few hours...all natural, made with healing flowers...for depression, anxiety, stress, etc. The store should also carry lozenges like Homeopathic Calm Drops and Pick Up drops, which you suck on in between drops, about $5 a box...

Not so sexy baby girl, you need to get off of these things if you can, that might help seems that a lot of your worries and life are involved around what kind to get and how much they cost you if you could let that go you could focus on other things.

if you are low income there are plans that help you get brand name meds cheap (like $5) or FREE. check out www.pparx.org and/or talk to your pharmacist at your local drug store.
