She is a boxer and is 12 months old next month. She has been in season for about 5 weeks, which she has been spotting since then. I thought that they were only meant to be in for 3 weeks. Like my other dog.
I know everbody is different but why has she not come out yet?

The average season for a ***** lasts around 21 days give or take a few days either way. If your ***** has had a discharge for 5 weeks then it is possible she has open pyometria which is an infection of the uterus. This can be very serious and even fatal if the dog becomes septic. After 5 weeks its time to take your dog to her vet and let him figure out if she is having an abnormal season or if she has a potentially serious illness. Good luck.

Since being in season she may have caught an infection. You best take her to the vets.

Stopping infections is 1 of many reasons why a female dog should be spayed.

If she's been bleeding for that long, you really need to get her to the vet. Even if it's just a physical problem and not something she may have gotten into, that still needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

My mom's bf initially thought his dog was in season but she was bleeding weird so he took her in and found out she'd eaten a box of D-Con in the basement and was hemorrhaging.

With dogs their heat is a total of 3 weeks they bleed like the middle week. So you should talk to a vet about her being in that long. My female bleeds for a week she's in heat right now. So I say call a vet or visit yours if you have one, they'd know what to do about it. She may just be a dog with female problems just like some women do.

She may have a uterine infection if she's still having discharge... get her to a vet so they can check her out. If it's caught early enough antibiotics may help, but if you let it go she will end up needing to be spayed to get rid of the infection.

Could be an infection. Probably a good time to visit the vet.
