I'm looking for an affordable SUV that has V6 and is not too big. Research and expert reviews have led me to these three as my top choices. I'm about to graduate from grad school and get a job, this would be my first SUV and the first car that I bought for myself. I just want something with good cargo space, nice acceleration and handling, and decent milage (at least 20/26 mpg). Any opinions?

I'm not looking for suggestions on other vehicles, these are the three I want to know more about. They are in my price range and offer the options best suited to my needs.

The Santa Fe is more for your money but the RAV 4 is best, very powerful and reliability is tops, as is re-sale value.

You probably get more bang for your buck with the redesigned Santa Fe. Another too look at is its sister car, the Kia Sorento. Both have 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranties.

Highlander V6
Honda Pilot
4-Runner

These are far better choices.
