The hurt is individual. Just be sure you're ready and up for it and that you're planning to do it with someone you care about and most importantly cares about you.

Um, yes, usually.
Most girls have what is called a hymen at the entry to their vagina. It's often described as a flap of skin but it's actually more like a ring around the entrance (when you're born the hole's often totally covered but an entry appears naturally when you become a teenager for your period). Some girls are born without them, and some girls break them through other activities - masturbation, horseriding, being fingered.
However, a lot of girls still have them and when you have sex for the first time it will break. This will be painful, but there are things you can do to minimise the pain:
1. Really know and trust your partner. You will be more relaxed, and your muscles won't tense as much. Wait till you're really comfortable with them, and maybe do a lot of foreplay so you're not nervous about being naked together. Talk to him beforehand, as well, so that you're more secure.
2. Make sure your partner turns you on. When you get aroused your body produces a natural lubricant (you will know this if you masturbate) and this makes penetration a lot easier and less painful. You can also use shop bought lubricants - make sure they're waterbased, not oilbased though, because the latter can dissolve condoms.
3. Go really slowly and carefully. Some people say it helps if the girl is on top and sort of eases her way down so she can go at her own pace, but do what you're comfortable with.
Remember: an orgasm will obviously make a first time a lot better, but it won't take away the pain, and many people don't orgasm their first time (particularly if both partners are virgins). You're likely to bleed a little (warn your boyfriend of this, or you might scare him!) and it's likely to ache a bit for the next day or so.
Hope this helps! Take care and be sure to use protection!

Physically yes, but what can hurt more is doing it with the wrong person. If you can wait until you are in a stable relationship with someone you trust and treats you well and with respect. Too many people just do it with anyone to get it over with and regret it for years. It should be something you can look back on and be proud that it wasn't just some loser. Even if your relationship doesn't work out.

No wonder people are so scared of their first time with you lot. Jeez. It doesn't hurt if you are properly into it and are well buzzed up, totally into who you are with and lubricated.
Don't think it 'hurts'. You will tense up and your first experience will be awful. It should be special and it wont be if you are frightened of what to expect.
Relax...and it will be wonderful. Mine was and I still feel like my skin is electric when I think about it. Have not been able to quite recreate that feeling since!

As long as you are relaxed and aroused it will not hurt. Make sure he knows it is your first time and ask him to be especially gentle. Spend lots of time on the kissing and touching part before you move on to penetration.
Don't do it if you don't feel comfortable. No matter how much he tries to talk you into it!!
Enjoy!

make sure u cuddle a lot before so u get aroused and try to relax. do use some lubrificant as it might get dry because u wont relax and that might hurt. its a very important step so make sure u r confident about it. also it will hurt less if the one u will do it with loves u, he will be careful and wont rush, dont worry though its gonna be ur best night :) or day

No, it didn't hurt for me. I thought it would but it didn't. If your relaxed and comfortable with your partner then your first time is likely not to hurt because when you are tense your vaginal muscles tense up. When the penis enters, it can cause a tear because your muscles are tightened but if you are relaxed its likely not to hurt as much.
First time hype is not always a biggie.... you are bound to be a little disappointed but after a bit of practise you'll get to enjoy the pleasure of sex (if you are with the right person of course).
Play safe and don't forget to use a condom!

My first love (in her mid 20s) said....its just an ant bite...soon forgotten. In less than 24 hours she came for more. When the man loves her, he will execise more self control. The result will be a really good time for both. So enjoy...cos the earth does move in the process

It depends on the person, and the sexual situation. For me it didn't hurt at all, I just felt pressure... like something was trying to be forced into a limited amount of space. But it wasn't how I thought it would be. If you do it, jsut relax, and don't worry... because it can cause tention in your lower area.

Yes it hurts, and you know what hurts more when you break up with the person you lost it to.
God i feel so mean lol, but seriously nearly everyone I knows regrets who they shared their first time with - so the advise I give you is, go steady with the person you really like/love for at least a year - then you'll know if your happy or not - then when it feels right go for it ! At least then you can say, my first time was with someone I was in love with, and I was with them for a year.
