"Spiritual" is pretty much a nonsense word. People use it to add an air of mysteriousness to their drivel.

When they use the word, they are usually talking about emotions or other mundane things. If I talk about myself being emotionally stable, people don't listen to me. However, if I say I'm spiritually grounded, people are more impressed for some reason.

People hate the regular mundane world. They like to think they are in touch with something deeper and more mysterious, like an invisible world that overlaps this one. The word "spiritual" is a catch all word for this human tendency to make such stuff up.

I wouldn't go as far as to say "meaningless dribble". I just wish peopel woul dput a little thought behind it. There are too many assumptions that "it must be so". I would like to see the issue being explored and challenged, not just blieved.

I prefer answers, but question of a spiritual nature are good too. Nothing is more enjoyable than having a discussion with a spiritually conected person. As the other person said, religion and spirituality are not interchangeable.

Absolutely not, we are not only physical beings, but spiritual--just as we ask questions about our bodies, we should question our spiritual beings. Thank you
