Myspace is only as unsafe as you allow it to be.
The best thing to do is to set it to private, most kids use it to comunicate with only their friends anyway, which is safest.
Remember not to post addresses and phone numbers on other profiles that aren't private.
There is very little cases of children or anyone being hurt through myspace, as in stalked, raped, etc. But there is no reason not to be safe. Remember never to talk to anyone you don't know, plan to meet them, or put your adress or full name anywhere.
Have fun and be safe!

People can only get your address or phone# if you tell them. What is unsafe about it is that some children do not have very good judgment about people they meet on myspace.the main forum for communicating is messaging, instant messaging, or commenting[kinda like IM]. There is nothing evil about it.

If your safe about myspace and dont put personal information out then its fine i think. But i just hate myspace beacuse kids take it way to far. They start fights and cause drama just because some one moved them down a space on their myspace. it is so gay and a waste of time.

human beings comprehend damn nicely what's on those web content earlier they ever get on them. lots of the time it really is precisely what attracts them to it interior the first position. i imagine individual would must be a dumbass, like the chick speaking about sexual attack on MySpace, in the journey that they imagine they're going to get on the internet the position, virtually, the entire international is sweet earlier your fingertips and assume some Wizard of oz.bullshit. human beings like that do not favor pcs and could no longer be on the internet. in case you do not pick some thing conventional, then do not provide out your suggestion it really is so straight forward as that. MySpace isn't risky. youthful ones comprehend the deal. moms and dads in simple terms favor to computer screen what the hell their youthful ones are doing.

well the safest thing 2 do is having your profile on private. but if u dont...(wich is stupid) no one should rlly display personal info, liek wat skool they go to, name, age, adress, number, cell etc. u also have 2 b careful how u take ur pictures,,,tht is also a problem because for exampple if u are in a school basketball team and u take a picture then ur jersey will say teh schools nake and tht will make it so much easier to find you. also dont take a picture outside and by accident ur neighborhood sign is in the backround. many things can be tetermined by just your back round,
