Le 30 juin, nous avons pris a Paris L'avion pour New York.
June 30th, we are taking a Paris airplane for New York.
This is a rough translation for the first sentence.

you may have to go through an translate each word in the paragraph with a french-english dictionary. there are some online.
or you could call the group and get together over coffee to work on all of it together.
Bonne Chance!!!

L'Onu is what we call the UN, and this is not first-year French at most high schools.

you could go to babelfish.altavista.com and there you might be able to translate it...even though it would be better to translate it with someone who is able to speak really well french, 'cause this translators don't always translate the right way. good luck!
